Some teams click. Most don't know why.
Led by David Chislett, this session uses the Foursight thinking-styles model to show you why your team argues about process and gives you a shared language to stop having the same argument twice.
Before you book
Two minutes on what the session actually covers and who it's for.
The problem
You've probably heard of Foursight. Fewer people have ever quite got it and that gap is exactly where teams keep clashing.
Clarifiers, ideators, developers and implementers all approach a problem differently and most teams never learn to tell which is which.
What looks like someone being difficult is often just a different, equally valid way of working through the same problem.
Without a model to point to, teams keep re-running the same argument about process instead of naming it and solving it once.
If you've heard of Foursight but never quite "got it," this is the session that makes it click.
The core idea
A shared language for how your team solves problems.
Foursight is a research-based model that reveals how people naturally approach each step of the problem-solving process. Understanding it helps you collaborate better, communicate smarter and solve problems faster.
How it works
The 90 minutes are the middle. What happens either side is what makes them stick.
No pre-work worksheet. Watch the two-minute intro above if you like, then just show up ready to think about your own team.
Optional, before the sessionDavid Chislett walks you through the Foursight model live: the four styles, what your own profile shows, why it matters and how to debunk the misconceptions people carry about it.
90 minutes, live onlineTake your certificate, then bring what you've learned back to your team, or go further with a private session for the whole group.
Optional · ongoingWhat you take away
This is an introduction and it's honest about that. Ninety minutes buys you a working model for your team's problem-solving styles, which is more than most courses manage in a day.
Know your default preference: clarifying, ideating, developing or implementing and what it means in practice.
101Spot which style a colleague leans on and recognise that it isn't a flaw, just a different route to the same answer.
101Turn "why won't they just..." into "of course they think that way," in the middle of a real meeting.
101Give your team words for a difference that used to just feel like conflict.
