Reframe the problem before you solve it.
A 90-minute session on questioning the problem you've been handed before you spend another hour solving it, because the fastest fix is often a better question.
The problem
Most problems arrive already framed by someone else. Most of us start solving them exactly as handed over. That's often the first mistake, not the last one.
The way a problem was first described tends to stick, even when it's the wrong way to look at it.
It's easy to solve the visible symptom and leave the actual cause untouched.
A single framing of a problem tends to produce a single kind of solution. You never see the others.
If a solved problem has ever come straight back, this is the session that shows you why.
The core idea
A better question beats a faster answer.
Problem Re-Framing 101 gives you a practical method for questioning how a problem was defined in the first place, so you spend your effort solving the right one.
How it works
The 90 minutes are the middle. What happens either side is what makes them stick.
No pre-work worksheet. Just show up ready to think about a real problem you've been handed.
Optional, before the sessionArne van Oosterom walks you through practical reframing techniques, live, applied to a real problem you bring to the session.
